The Universe Can Take a Hint…

November 26, 2013

So be careful what you put out there.  I’m a big believer that what you think, say, desire will come back to you. A few months ago I *hinted* to my husband that I would like to do something. He didn’t follow through, but the universe wanted this for me. You’ll never believe what happened!

I told my husband that I really wanted to attend the John Mayer concert when he comes to Michigan on November 27. Needless to say he didn’t get tickets.  Then a few weeks ago I saw that while on tour in different cities that John wants to have local artists displaying their artwork for sale before each of his concerts.  10% of what the artists make will be donated to NCIRE which helps veterans obtain affordable healthcare. So, as a shot in the dark I applied.  And yesterday I was accepted to be a artist at the show!  How much fun is that!?  Plus, we get to see the concert tomorrow night!

Yes, everything is last minute and it requires a 2 hour drive to the venue along with a little bit of stress in preparing but I couldn’t turn down the opportunity!

If you’re at the concert tomorrow night in Grand Rapids, MI please find us on the concourse and say hello!
