Around our house my boys love what they call “Yoganola”, my homemade granola combined with organic full-fat Thomas yogurt. This recipe adds in the power of chia seeds to help fill you up and the antioxidant power of a small amount of cacao nibs. The sweetness from the honey helps take away the bitterness of cacao and transforms it into chocolate heaven.

Friend Friday – Organic Bliss
January 27th, 2012 by Daedra SurowiecI don’t get out much but when I do Organic Bliss is one of my all-time favorite stores to visit. I came across this store while out to dinner in Ann Arbor, MI with my family one night. We were walking past when (as usual) my husband tells me to go in and see if they’d like to carry our straws. Now, I have walked into my fair share of stores asking them if they want to carry our straws and most of the time I do not get a pleasant response in return, you can understand why this is my least favorite task.
